Q. How can I request a ride/parcel?
- Start by clicking the 'Where to' option.
- Enter both your pickup location and destination address in the provided boxes.
- Save your workplace and home locations for quick access in the app.
- Alternatively, set the destination location by clicking "Set destination location on the map."
- Your default pickup point is automatically set to your current GPS location. If your pickup location differs, simply tap on the map and update the address.
- Now, choose the type of vehicle you prefer from the options at the bottom of your screen:
- CNG
- OBHAI G™
- EXPRESS
- Place the request and wait for a driver to accept your request.
- Once accepted, you'll be able to track your driver's location and estimated arrival time at your pickup point on the map.
- Stay informed through app notifications, alerting you when your driver reaches the pickup location.
Q. How can I see the Estimated Fare?
The Estimated Fare is visible beside each vehicle type.
Q. How do I select a type of vehicle?
Select your preferred vehicle type from the horizontal panel on your screen. Please note that you can choose or change the vehicle type at any time before confirming your ride request.
Q. Can I request for a specific driver?
Available vehicles can be seen to map screen. If there's no driver when you request one, but a new driver becomes available shortly after, you'll get a notification about the new driver. Customer can use Find another driver feature if s/he wish to change the assigned driver without canceling the ride. For specific driver customer can use “Connect to a driver” feature
Q. How to contact my OBHAI driver?
Once the driver is assigned for your ride, the contact details of the driver will be available on your screen. To ensure in-app call, you can choose the Free call option, which will be recorded by OBHAI.
Q. How can I identify my ride?
Once your ride is assigned, relevant details such as the driver's photo, car number, and model will be accessible. Please note that these specifics become visible only after the ride is assigned.
Q. How can I cancel an OBHAI ride?
Customer can’t cancel the ride once the driver reaches the designated pick-up point and taps arrive button. Customer will be charged a cancellation fee if either 15 minute have passed or the driver has traveled more than 500 meters before arriving.
Q. Does it cost anything to use the OBHAI app?
No, you can download and use the app for free.
Q. Do I lose my OBHAI booking if I close the app?
No, the booking continues even if you close the app. A push message is sent just before the vehicle arrives. If you leave the app open, you can track the vehicle's arrival live on the map.

Certainly! You have two options to set up your pick-up location:
- Enter the address in the white box while setting the destination.
- Click on the GPS Icon at the bottom left of the screen to use your current location. //In customer app this icon becomes visible from map screen/get all service screen.
Q. How do ETAs work?
The ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) is dependent upon the pick-up location and destination. The shortest distance for the trip is automatically assigned and the time is estimated based on Live Traffic feed from Google Traffic Analytics.
Q. Can I ride with a pet?
Yes, you can. Please inform the driver in advance to ensure suitable arrangements are made.
Q. Does OBHAI have recurring charges?
No, there are no recurring charges. OBHAI only charges for the rides you take.
Q. When are OBHAI services available?
OBHAI services are available 24/7, providing round-the-clock convenience for users. Please note that the availability of free vehicles may vary based on geographical location and time of day.
Q. Can I travel outside of Dhaka Metro with OBHAI service?
Yes, you can. OBHAI offers OBHAI Intercity™ Services, allowing you to travel within cities. To utilize this service, kindly book your ride at least one hour before your planned journey.
Q. In which cities OBHAI is available now?
OBHAI is currently operating in Dhaka, Chattogram, and Cox's Bazar.
Q. How can I give feedback about the service?
We highly value your feedback. After each ride, you can rate your driver and provide comments for any complaints or remarks. Additionally, feedback can be shared through our Facebook page or by calling 16633.
Q. Do you have any Emergency/ Enquiry/ Helpline contact numbers?
In case of an emergency during a ride, you can use the SOS button on the app to alert our service providers for immediate assistance. Alternatively, you can find helpline and contact numbers on our website or reach out to us via email. For emergency assistance, you can tap the 999 number too.
Q. How I can download the app from the Play Store and what will be the requirement for my handset?
To download the OBHAI app, follow these steps:
- Go to the Play Store on your smartphone.
- Search for the "OBHAI" app.
- Install the app on your smartphone.
Ensure that your smartphone has at least 1GB of RAM to download the app.
Q. Can I log in through any social media?

Absolutely! You can book a ride by calling our Helpline at 16633 or 09610056789.
Q. Can I pay by any other payment mode (Ex. Debit card, Credit card, ObhaiMiles™)?
You can make payments using various methods, including Credit/Debit cards, Mobile wallets, and Obhaimiles™, our loyalty points system that allows you to redeem points for payments.
Q. Can I pay in advance?
Advance payments are only applicable to corporate account holders.
Q. How can I get started with Obhai?
You can start using Obhai by following 3 easy steps-
- First, register as a driver by filling up the registration form or share required information with your sales representative.
- A verification call will be conducted from the Obhai Helpline.
- After the verification, you will get your login credentials on your registered phone number, and you can start taking rides with Obhai right away.

Q. I do not have a smartphone, can I start using Obhai?
Obhai provides smartphones to drivers who requires it (small charge applicable).
Q. Do I need to pay Obhai for using the App?
There is no additional payment required to use the Obhai App. Obhai only charges certain commission from each ride.
Q. How do I start taking rides with Obhai?
- Log in to the Obhai Contractor App with your login credentials.
- Slide the “Go Online” button to go online and start receiving ride requests.
- After getting a request, accept it accordingly in the app. The request will stay on your screen for 10 seconds if you do not accept it.
- After you accept a ride request, go to the pickup location and select “Arrived.”
- After you reach the pickup location, select “Start Ride.”
- After you reach the drop-off location, select “End Ride.”
- You can raise issues or rate your passenger after the ride has ended in the app.
